Learning Congregations (LC) Workshops

Being a congregational leader can be challenging and confusing. The Learning Congregation program provides ongoing training in some of the most difficult and common challenges faced by church leaders.

While the challenges may be common, the approaches you'll find in our workshops are anything but. Some of our workshop leaders are internationally known for their innovative, effective work in their field. All our workshops will help you deal with problems at a deep, thoughtful level that can lead to meaningful, positive change in your congregation.

See descriptions for each workshop by clicking on the title listed to the right.

The Value of Teams
We encourage each congregation to bring a team of at least four people. Experience has taught us that a group of trained leaders in a congregation can be far more effective than an individual in bringing new ideas back to the congregation. Who your congregation registers for a workshop depends on the interest in the topic and the position of the lay leader.

All workshops are interactive and provide plenty of opportunities for getting to know your fellow Unitarian Universalists.
