Susan Tordella, guest speaker at Billerica First Parish UU Church will share the story of Mooey, a chicken turned-bully, and her own experience of being bullied in school because she looked different from everyone else. We will learn how to promote a culture of empathy and tolerance, where even the most vulnerable among us can feel safe.

Susan Tordella (www.fowlbehavior.net) has worked as a journalist, editor and program manager for a nonprofit organization. She has presented her " Fowl Behavior" bullying prevention program to schools, parents, churches and scout programs.

Billerica First Parish is located at 7 Concord Road (in Billerica Center-on the common). The building is handicapped accessible. This is free and open to the public and everyone is welcome.
