For the first time, Clara Barton and Massachusetts Bay Districts will hold a joint assembly for all Unitarian Universalists in any of our 118 congregations and beyond. Join us for an afternoon of celebrative worship, music, and fellowship that asks you to consider:

  • What would it feel like to be free?
  • What is my call?
  • Am I prepared to answer that call?


ADDITIONAL HIGHLIGHTS

  • a multi-media banner parade with video reflections on what our faith is calling us to do
  • celebrative, energetic and joyful worship
  • amazing music led by guest singers and singing groups and accompanied by a cadre of talented instrumentalists
  • conversations with people from other congregations across both districts in order to learn something new about them and ourselves - individually and collectively

  • book fair (bring a check or cash) 


WORSHIP LEADERS

Among the finest not only in our districts but in the nation, our worship leaders include:    

  • K Crawford HarvieRev. Kim Crawford Harvie, Senior Minister at the Arlington Street Church in Boston. Raised in Concord, MA, she has been a UU minister since 1984. Kim is a passionate preacher and pastor who has been variously recognized as an "uncommon woman" and as one of 100 "outstanding women" in Massachusetts for the many ways in which she works for justice. She brings a spirit of love, generosity and joy to her ministry.   
  • Rev. Tom Schade, Minister at the First Unitarian Church of Worcester. A lifelong Unitarian Universalist, Tom is a passionate preacher who brings his background in political science and organizing into his ministry. Tom is well known for his energetic style and humor.
