CBD Choir Festival 2012Join Shawn Mc Cann, Director of Music at First Parish Church of Groton, for Clara Barton District's annual Choir Festival hosted by the First Unitarian Church of Worcester.  Here's the schedule:

1:00 pm social time and warm-ups

2:00 pm rehearsal

3:30 pm concert

reception follows!

 

The CBD festival is moving forward with good momentum now that the holiday season is over.  9 choirs are participating, from the following congregations:

  • Groton
  • Littleton
  • Worcester: First Unitarian
  • Worcester: UU Church of Worcester
  • Greenfield
  • Brookfield
  • New London, CT - All Souls Choir and All Souls Camerata
  • Hopedale (choir members will sing with the combined group)

The concert will benefit Loaves & Fishes Food Pantry at Devens in Ayer.  See attached flyer to print and post. For more information, contact Shawn at music [at] uugroton [dot] org.
