What kind of church is First Parish Church?
First Parish Church United is liberal in theology and congregationally governed.  The spirit of FPCU comes from the diversity of people who attend, sharing their ideas and experiences.  The congregation believes in the sanctity of individual conscience and the freedom of personal belief.  We do not hold one another to any set statement of religious beliefs.
 
Is FPCU a historically significant church?
FPCU has a rich history dating back 275 years. George Downey, a former pastor, wrote a booklet entitled "A History of the First Parish of Westford" to celebrate FPCU's 250 anniversary. Is FPCU affiliated with any Denominations?
First Parish Church United maintains affiliations with the two denominations that reflect our own religious heritage and history: The United Church of Christ and the Unitarian Universalist Association. The church contributes to and participates in the activities of these denominations as well as makes use of the services that the denominations are able to provide.
 
When can I drop by and find someone in the office?

Tuesday through Friday 9 a.m. - 2:30p.m.
