Founded in 1735, the First Congregational Parish, Unitarian, in Petersham, Massachusetts is a member congregation of the Unitarian Universalist Association and a Welcoming Congregation.

Our mission is to respect, love, serve and worship in a healing, caring community. Our vision statement: "We are on a journey to welcome all who cross our threshold. We invite everyone to walk with us regardless of national origin, race, color, gender, sexual orientation, age, ability, or class. We endeavor to greet everyone with compassion and loving kindness. We embrace the rainbow of diversity which is our great blessing." Each Sunday we have a Silent Sitting Meditation from 9:00 a.m. to 9:45 a.m., followed by our worship service at 10:00 a.m.

Our church is fully wheelchair-accessible via an elevator.  We provide assistive listening devices and have large print hymnals.
