Programs and Trainings

Through our programs and trainings, we seek to equip congregations with the knowledge, skills and understanding that support community engagement, congregational growth, spiritual depth, and prophetic participation in the world.

We create learning environments that are engaging, spirited and practical. By participating in MBD programs, congregations both develop leadership skills and connect with sister congregations struggling with similar concerns and issues.

What Other Participants Report

Here's what attendees at recent MBD programs said about their experience:

  • "Definitely worthwhile!"

  • "Highly recommended!"
  • "Wonderful opportunity to learn and to connect with other UU's with similar interests. Quality is excellent."

  • "It's energizing and thought-provoking to have contact with people from different UU congregations."

  • "MBD workshops give us a chance as church leaders not only to dialogue, [but to] ... step back from our own myopic views, ... to do this in community, to benefit from other UU congregations' journeys and viewpoints, to make face-to-face connections and to know we're all in this together."

  • "Looking at issues with the guidance of an expert and in the company of others who are facing the same challenges is enormously helpful."
  • "Please attend to the workshops offered. Once you experience such an event, [you will] get a stronger appreciation for our faith and the community at large."

  • "Bring your 'whole self' and get involved."

We hope to see you soon!
