First Parish Church of Weston

Whoever you are, wherever you find yourself on your journey of faith, you are welcome here at First Parish Church in Weston, Massachusetts.  Sunday morning worship and Church School are at 10:30, with childcare for infants and toddlers beginning at 10:15 am.  The church is wheel-chair accessible and hearing-assist devices are available for use in the Sanctuary.  A time of refreshment and fellowship follows the worship service.  We also offer a more informal evening prayer service on the second Sunday of each month at 6:00 pm in the Sears Chapel.

The First Parish Church in Weston has been worshipping for over 300 years. We're the "parish church," or "town church," created by the Puritan settlers in 1698 to serve all the residents of the town. With our 500 adults and over 200 church school students, this town church identity still guides us, for we seek to be a vibrant and welcoming community church, including people from a wide variety of denominational backgrounds and from no religious background.

With a simplicity of worship and purpose, and a commitment to freedom, reason, and tolerance, we gather for worship, to educate our children and ourselves, to reach out to one another and to the world with compassion, all under the Covenant:  "In the love of truth and in the spirit of Jesus Christ, we join for the worship of God and the service of Humankind." Affiliated with the Unitarian Universalist Association, we worship from a Christian perspective.
